Southampton fans will be coming up to the Banks’s Stadium in numbers on Saturday as their fans look to tick off a new ground.

Walsall have not faced Southampton since at home since 1962 and that was obviously at our former home Fellows Park.

Now in 2009 the Saints travelling contingent will get to sample the Bescot ‘delights’ for the first time.

Southamptons first allocation is for 2100 tickets in the away end but Walsall have indicated that an extra 600 will be made available for our visitors if they can sell them.

With the opportunity for a new away day it is believed they will sell through these with relative ease.
