Hartlepool Manager Chris Turner has resigned from his role at the club.
Not mush is known regarding the resignation at the moment and we will update the news as we get it.
The resignation comes as a great surprise with the club making an undefeated start to the season. In their league opener ‘Pools held Rochdale in their first game in League One and on Saturday held the fancied Swindon Town at home.
The two league games sandwiched the fine 2-0 League Cup win over Sheffield United which was a huge contributor to their manager Kevin Blackwell leaving the club.
Turner who has previously managed Stockport and Sheffield Wednesday took the job in December 2008, replacing Danny Wilson.
