Former Walsall winger Edrissa Sonko has made another move on his international journey after joining Dubai side RAS Al Khaimah.
The 30-year old had played in his native Gambia, Belgium and Holland, before moving Walsall, later heading to Zante and Cyprus. His career has seen him play for Steve Biko, Real de Banjul, Anderlecht, Roda JC, Walsall, Tranmere Rovers, Skoda Xanthi and Hereford United and APEP
Gambian newspaper The Daily Observer quotes Sonko as saying: “Yes I am now with AL Khaimah Club in Dubai. I have signed a year contract with them, but with an option to extend next season.”
