Leicester City striker Matty Fryatt is close to to finalising his £1.5million move to Hull City.
His manager Sven Goran Eriksson said: “It is almost certain he will go when the window opens” yesterday.
Eriksson added:
The move has been long drawn out since Fryatt’s former manager Nigel Pearson made the move to Hull in June.
Eriksson had previously said Fryatt would get his chance at the Walkers Stadium but Fryatt has not started for the Foxes since October and his substitute appearances have been minimal.
Once the transfer window re-opens on January 1st, Fryatt will link up at Hull with another former Saddler Anthony Gerrard who is at the club on a season long loan from Cardiff City.
