Former Walsall loan star Julian Joachim looks likely to be without a club this season after failing to agree a deal with Boston Town.
‘The Poachers’ have been busy trying to sign the striker for the new campaign which begins on Saturday against one of his former clubs Quorn, but both the player and Boston Town feel commuting from his Leicestershire home would be too much for the whole season ahead.
Manager Ian Dunn told the Boston Standard said:
“It doesn’t seem like he’ll be playing football this season.
“He played pre-season but travelling could be too much for him.
“He couldn’t guarantee he’d be available every game and midweek matches could be another problem.
