QPR manager Mark Hughes has confirmed he will name a strong side to face Walsall but admits he will make a few changes for the Capital One League Cup Clash.

Former Chelsea full back Jose Bosingwa is expected to start whilst Shaun Wright-Phillips, Ryan Nelsen and Shaun Derry are expected to figure.

Hughes explained:

“The intention is to field a strong team and make sure we progress, because it’s a competition we want to do well in.

“We’ll make a few changes because a number of players are itching to play – the likes of Shaun Wright-Phillips, who’d been really unlucky because he had a good pre-season and I haven’t been able to give him an opportunity yet.”
