Yeovil Town have posed for their annual pre-season photograph top-less in a bid to find a new sponsor for the up-coming season.
Our League One rivals are yet to find a company to appear on their shirts for the 2012-13 campaign after last season’s sponsor’s Jones Building Contractors decided against extending their shirt sponsorship.

A League One club quite comparable to Walsall in attendance without a sponsor is a sign of the difficult economic climate. Their publicity stunt, dreamed up by manager Gary Johnson will highlight to companies the scope of the clubs exposure which is seen and reported countrywide.
Former Walsall loanee Rueben Reid now at the club revealed the stunt had been well received by the players:
“I’ve never experienced anything like that before. It was interesting and it was was quite funny for the lads.
“When it got mentioned, a lot of the lads ran straight in to the gym to get on the bench-press. It was a funny time.”
Manager Johnson joked:
“A few of the lads have been in the gym over the weekend because they had a little inkling that is what we might do and a few more of them are going to have to be in the gym over a few more weekends, having a look at them. The staff decided to wear what we normally wear, which was handy.”
